The Venue: The venue for this workshop is Goosebay Sawmill & Lumber – a working sawmill and lumber yard near Concord, NH (See the map here). Goosebay Sawmill & Lumber Inc. is a family owned and operated New Hampshire corporation that has been in business over 30 years. Goosebay supplies stock and trade and sells as a wide variety of of exotic woods to cabinetmakers, contractors, artisans, part-time woodworkers, hobbyists, and now wood surfers far and wide. At Goosebay we’ll have access to a range of power tools, racks of wood, and a wide open workshop.

The Price: Total Workshop price is calculated as $400 (tuition) + $50/foot (materials) (See dropdown menu below).
What’s NOT included: Food (bring your own or get locally), lodging (see above), epoxy fiberglassing, & fins (I assume you’ll be glassing on your fins, and can advise on fins and fin placement. The idea is that this is a STRIP & FEATHER WORKSHOP. That means I’ll teach all about the method and walk you through the entire Strip & Feather part. The parts that are not unique to the method (i.e sanding, glassing, and fin installment are technically no different than any other method so are not included). This workshop focuses on the Strip & Feather method that you’ll not get anywhere else than a T2S workshop. You may use excess wood for shaping fins, but fins are not technically included)
SPACE IS LIMITED to 10 participants so reserve your spot early by making a $50 deposit (non-refundable if you cancel, fully refunded if we do) using the PayPal button below. The balance (full payment) must be received 1-week prior to the workshop (Fri., July 15th). I will send an invoice for the balance due on Thurs, July 14th.
If there is sufficient interest in an SUP and enough time, I’d be willing to design a custom SUP for this workshop. Let me know ASAP if your interested in participating on the design process.
