ANNOUNCING A 3-DAY WORKSHOP ON THE COAST OF WALES

The Venue: The venue for this workshop is a an old converted Victorian coach house on the west coast of Wales. The workspace is heated and has a sound-system, a large kitchen, toilets, a bar, and also provides an option to move out into an adjacent courtyard if it’s warm enough outside.
Also available as an option, is an attached B&B. See William’s House of Solva website for more information about that (cheaper options are also available in the area).
The Host: The host for this workshop is professional woodworker/boatbuilder and surfer, Paul Reisberg. You can check out his boatbuilding, sailing, and sailing blog here. Paul will be your point of contact and can advise you with local knowledge such as lodging (if neccessary), directions, parking, restaurants, and secret spots. Connect with Paul via email.
The Price: Total Workshop price is calculated as £250+32/foot
What’s included: One of Rich’s design templates (or custom designs are available for $50 arranged ahead of time), pre-cut internal frames, all the wood that you’ll need (sustainably harvested Paulownia and cedar), a rocker table, all tools (but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them), glues, and fasteners, finboxes and board vents.
What’s NOT included: Food (bring your own or get locally), lodging (see above), epoxy fiberglassing, & fins (I assume you’ll be glassing on your fins, and can advise on fins and fin placement. You may use excess wood for shaping fins, but fins are not technically included)
